I wasn't there when this happened, but I sure loved to hear the tale! Just as my dad has a beard and mustache and it felt very weird when he shaved it (I was like 7 or 8), Gabriel likes me having a beard and stache. To him, I exist with a beard... always have. To be honest, every year or so I shave it off completely and then let it grow back, and sometimes I just wear a mustache for a while, etc... but he's used to see me bearded.

This week's song is Cobra Starship's "One Day Robots Will Cry", from their 2007 album ¡Viva la Cobra!". Interesting bit of information, Cobra Starship, apart from having one of the coolest band names ever, has a Uruguayan frontman, Gabriel "Gabe" Saporta. I don't really dig their music that much but: a) cool band name, b) cool song name, c) one of my nieces loves their music, d) 2007 album, e) Saporta shares a first name with my son.
