Well, what can we say? This is the start of a new era, the end of another. All of our readers will have noticed that in the past almost three years we released less than 20 regular strips. More than once we said we were back for good... and we never managed to keep a bi-weekly schedule, or even a monthly one.

This comic was created as a two-person project, despite it being my personal autobiography. Taibox helped me give birth to it, and together we created our first regular comic. The first collection was also the first book we financed on our own.

But obviously, things don't last forever. Taibox is still a very good friend, my co-editor in GAS Comics, and we will continue to make other comics together. But between other jobs and obligations, he could no longer dedicate time to Jetpack. The strip needed a new artist.

I delayed the search for months, because I didn't want Jetpack to change. But it was that, or the comic ceasing to exist. So I posted a call on Facebook, and got several offers, but the first (and best) was from our new artist: Nicolás Bail Ingold. Nico is an artist and animator, he's worked in several areas and projects, but this is first time in comics.

After a few sketches, he was ready for the first strip, and I thought that, as with the very first one, it'd be good to introduce the change in artists with a bit of fourth wall breaking.

As I said on the strip, I want to thank Taibox for his years of work on the project, with all of my heart. Also, welcome Nicolás, for what I hope are many years.

This strip's music is, predictably, "Changes", by David Bowie, originally from his album "Hunky Dory" (1971), but in a live version in Paris, 1999:
