I love going to schools to talk about my work. Kids and teens are usually very interested in what we have to say about comic creation, and some of them actually have very good questions. Being in my son's class was even better, since I got to talk to his classmates and share what I do with them. I bet he even got some nerd cred from it, and I looked cooler than the dentist mom that talked to them the following week.

Also, I must say that I am NOT that "metal". I started wearing a chain with my wallet a couple of years ago, having missed out on the whole thing when I was a teenager (I actually did not carry a wallet until recently). It's probably some sort of early middle-age crisis. Some guys get a sports car, I can only afford a Green Lantern wallet with a chain. And the other chain, the copper-bronze one, that's my pocket watch... like a sir!

This week, I chose the song that gives title to the strip, Kraftwerk's "Metal On Metal", but with it's original German name, "Metall auf Metall". It's originally from their 1977 album "Trans-Europe Express", but in its 1991 "The Mix" remix:
