The regular strips are back! This was a great trip I took (it's traditional at a certain grade at the school I went to). It was the first trip abroad with friends, and my first trip without my parents. Although there were teachers, we enjoyed a certain degree of freedom. In Paraguay, I bought a deck of poker cards, and started playing with my friends. The hotel in Brazil had gaming rooms with green-felted tables, with the lamp above them, so we felt really grown-up playing cards there.

Funny thing that links poker with the Brazilian restaurant in Paraguay: the dessert table at the eatery had a jar full of pineapple-flavored lollipops. They were awful, but since they were "all-you-can-eat", and in wrapping paper, we took them by the fistfuls, stuffing them into our fanny packs. If they were so awful, what did we want them for? Easy, we used them as chips when playing poker!

This week's song is Alanis Morisette's "You Oughta Know", from her 1995 album "Jagged Little Pill". I don't particularly like (or dislike) this song, but it was everywhere that year:

Nice strip. I can imagine that All-you-can-eat Brazilian BBQ was pretty great and i love the idea of using the candy and poker chips ;D
